Continuing a new feature on our Celina Ladies & Friends blog: “Spotlight on our Sponsors,” featuring a look at the local businesses that generously sponsor our organization. Today, we highlight a popular local boutique, Annie Jack Design & General Store, which offers a wide selection of clothes, home décor, gifts, accessories, candles and bath & body items.
Annie Jack Design & General Store opened in 2016, in the historic Nelson Hotel on the square in Celina, Texas. Owner Rachel Baty, who studied interior design at Baylor University, had offered interior design services for many years under the name “Annie Jack Design.” Rachel explains that “Annie Jack” was a childhood nickname, based on a combination of family names. When she opened this retail store in Celina two years ago, she added the “& General Store” portion of the name.
Annie Jack Design also offers interior design and home staging services. The design services include Re-Design, Move In, Color Consultation, Shopping/Sourcing and Staging to Sell. Rachel explains that “Re-Design” is the art of transforming a space using existing furnishings, art and accessories to create a home you will love. The retail store, on the square in Celina, offers beautiful home accessories to complement Rachel’s design services. Additionally, the store sells clothes, jewelry, gifts and more.
Annie Jack Design & General Store participates in many Celina events, including the Celina Wine Crawl, the Christmas Gift Tour, and our very own Celina Ladies & Friends Progressive Dinner & Scavenger Hunt, which occurs in October.
Rachel Baty is a Past President of Celina Ladies & Friends, and is on the Celina Main Street Advisory Board and a member of the Celina Chamber of Commerce. We feel lucky to have her in our community!
Annie Jack is located at 222 W. Walnut Street and is open Monday through Saturday 10 am to 6 pm.
